German products are very welcome in Taiwan. They stand for good and long-lasting quality, with prices being a bit higher than those of other brands, but paying off in the long run. So it is no wonder that huge posters of German products are to be seen in the streets, as is the case for the two companies adidas and Puma:

As can be seen easily, they stand for the strong desire to win on the one hand and sportive elegance on the other: Isn't the adidas gentleman on top full of verve, hypnotising his potential adversaries? And isn't the Puma lady great? Who can ever be as agile as she is - and as appealing a the same time?! Below we can see them even better:

And the sports shop which features these ads, presents them together. Isn't that nice? It definitely is! The underlying message is: Whichever of these products you buy, it will be a German one.
